In the context of the scientific theme of the Department of Scientific Information and Analytical Support for Education of the V. O. Sukhomlynsky State Scientific Pedagogical Library of Ukraine named after V. O. Sukhomlynsky, ‘Information and analytical support of psychological science in the war and post-war periods of Ukraine,’ the psychological and pedagogical aspects of the realisation of gifted individuals during the war period in Ukraine are considered. It is noted that teachers, armed with knowledge of multifactorial models of giftedness, take into account the critical role of non-intellectual factors and focus on activities and results, taking into account the context of the sociocultural environment. The connection between the psychological and pedagogical aspects of the realisation of gifted individuals in higher education during the war period in Ukraine and the stages of this process is emphasised.
